VSCA Summer Summit 2023 - Event Details

Hello! We look forward to having you join us for the 4th annual VSCA Summer Summit next Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 9:00 am to 2:45 pm on the beautiful campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA!

The Summit will be held at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center https://www.innatvirginiatech.com/ and registration will begin at 8:30 am. 

As a reminder, lunch will be provided and parking is available (at no cost) in the parking lot in front of The Inn. 

Attendees will:

• Learn strategies for building relationships with students, providing opportunities for equitable dialogue and participatory decision making

• Gain resources on how to implement the restorative justice process as a school counselor 

• Learn the power of sister circles as affinity groups

• Gain knowledge and tips on transforming your school culture

• This event is CEU Eligible! 

Hotel/Lodging – We have a block of rooms reserved at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center if you need a hotel reservation.  As school counselors, we receive a special rate of $105 per night for a single occupancy room however please make your reservation ASAP to receive this special rate.
